First of all thank you all for responding with your comments this has been a marvelous trip . Actually this has been a trip of a life time , the places I’ve gone the things I’ve seen mostly the wonderful people I’ve met , I am a very lucky woman. There has been a lot going on each and every day often times the internet is spotty at best and most of the time there really isn’t much time if any to blog. I’ve enjoyed my family joining us , Scott joined us in Cape Town and did the safaris and Egypt. After Scott left we went to Cyprus for only one night it was a beautiful one night stay …. Ocean resort lots of family and children … and cats everywhere, yes cats young healthy friendly cats that the children were playing with all over the outside areas . I did enjoy them, but then I thought what if someone was allergic to cats ?!?! Hummmm Luke and Nadia were in Roma when we arrived they had gotten there 2 days before and were settled in …. What a joy to spend a few days with them. Three nights at the lovely Eden hotel . Two mornings of tours . Luke and Nadia Had gotten a recommendation for the “best” pizza restaurant so off we went and it was the best ! Then afternoon wondering around shopping , going up the Spanish steps to get ready for dinner ! What wonderful food and company. Next stop was France luke and Nadia flew with us , we stayed in a beautiful château De Cansiity a full day tour of the beaches of Normandy and the American Cemetery Brad and I had been before and we both still found it very moving , we were there for the 4:00 flag ceremony and taps . It’s the most beautiful serene place the actual beach is big and sandy when the tide is out. It’s so cruel to know what happened on these beaches the lives lost from so many countries in such a brutal battles . We are now on our way to the airport we are flying to Edinburgh where luke and Nadia will leave us 😢 then we will fly to Iceland where we will spend one night then depart for home ….,
