2 night stay …. Reorganize our bags some of our group went on a day excursion to lac Assal the lowest point on the African Continent and floated in the very salty water . I did not go I rested… and stayed out of the heat I’d had enough of being bounced around in a car . Djibouti really makes me appreciate living where I do
That sounds like it was a good plan to rest, Debbie. How is your back doing after being bounced around in jeeps and such on washboard roads?
Oddly enough not bad … the heat in places does get to me the guide and drivers and Scott have been wonderful lending their arm or hand when there is no hand rail … when we were walking around yesterday we had umbrellas from the hotel to help keep the sun off … I now have new appreciation for umbrellas … even Brad was using one … I said that this is how women of a certain age should be escorted on the arm of a young man and carrying an umbrella !
